Ask of me, and I shall give thee the
heathen for thine inheritance, and the
uttermost parts of the earth for thy
possession. (Psalm 2:8)
Pray God’s prayer point at the very beginning of this new year – yes, God’s
prayer point! We are labourers together with God (1 Cor. 3:9a), and joint-heirs
with Christ (Rom. 8:17) so as to reach those who do not yet know Him (the
heathen, the nations).
God started the work of redemption through Jesus Christ and has shown us in
His word that He will not finish it without us. Matt. 24:14; 2 Cor. 5:17-21

Ask the Lord to impress your heart with your “inheritance” – those
who do not know Him yet
Ask the Lord to impress your heart with your “possession” – the
uttermost ends of the earth
Ask God to make His need to reconcile the heathen to Himself to be
your personal concentration in 2019.
Pray to the Lord to shut out every other consideration and keep you
before God for this “one” thing only in 2019, to receive your
inheritance, the nations, and to possess your possession – the
uttermost parts of the earth.
