Mauritania’s Wolof community arranges their villages in compounds with multiple families and sometimes hundreds of people. They are farmers who rely on peanuts as their cash crop. Majority of the Wolof tribe lives in the Gambia or Senegal, but there are also 230,000 of them living in Mauritania. In this desert region they live close to the southern border near the coastline and not far from other Wolof people in Senegal.
Pray that Mauritania’s Wolof population will meet the Living God who loves them.
Ask the Lord, the true and living God who rules over all things visible and invisible to rule over the affairs of this people.
Bring the Wolof of Mauritania before God, and ask the Lord to reveal those things in their culture, that reflect who He is and His son Jesus to them.
Ask the Lord to use keys of insight to ignite a curiosity and hunger among the Wolof of Senegal to know more about Him
Ask the Lord to give His servants, Omega 2 Partner missionaries with CAPRO, ministering among the Wolofs in Senegal wisdom and strategy to promote the Gospel among the Mauritanian Wolofs.
Pray for the true success of the youth valentine programme at the AHE.
