Malawi, though surrounded by rich natural resources, remains one of the least developed countries in the world.  Malaria and yellow fever are rampant, and the country has one of the highest global incidences of AIDS. 

Despite these many adversities, the church is growing and experiencing revival.  The Word of God is penetrating most corners of society, and a steady biblical faith is building mature followers. 

Pray that the God of mercy would put an end to the scourge of HIV/AIDS in Malawi.

Pray that Malawi Christians would capture a vision for ministry to those suffering from HIV/AIDS and display the compassion of Christ as they respond to those infected with HIV.

Pray that Malawi Christians would address issues of HIV prevention in their churches and homes.
