Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest
truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest,
that he will send forth labourers into his
harvest.
The Lord Jesus Christ himself is the Lord of grace. He is not interested in the
death of a sinner but will bring whosoever is willing in. It is not man’s work, to
qualify people for God’s work. It is God’s work: Only God is able to furnish men
with ministerial gifts. Only God can work upon, and powerfully incline the hearts
of men to the needs of the Harvest. All power in heaven and on earth has been
given to Jesus, so only Him has all the power to send forth labourers.

Pray to the Lord to impress His church with a sense of the greatness of
the work, and of their own unworthiness and unfitness for it.
Ask the Lord to send forth faithful, diligent, and industrious preachers of
the Gospel of the Kingdom into the harvest field of the world.
Ask Him to give grace to many in the church to lay down their lives, their
time, talents, and strength, in the Master’s missionary service.
Ask Jesus to empower these end time labourers with His almighty power
for the conversion of sinners, and edification of saints wherever they are.
Ask the Lord to begin this sending forth with you, so that you will be in the
middle of His will for your life.
