We find in this scripture the Spirit urging us to pray with effectiveness and understanding-a prayer based on love.

Pray that believers who are partners in missions through intercession will be inspired by love.
Ask that the Lord open the eyes of the intercessors to the prayer needs of the missionaries.
Pray that fervency in prayer will characterize mission partners.
