The Sikhs are mainly found in India, and express
devotion through daily chants, gathering at the gurdwara, and
worshipping their holy book. Sikhs believe they may increase their
karma and escape the cycle of reincarnation through devotion,
c o m m u n i t y s e r v i c e , a n d c h a r i t y .
Although there are many Christian resources available in their Punjabi
language, only a few percent of Sikhs overseas are believers. The closeknit
community of the Sikhs keeps many from considering Jesus.

Pray that the Sikhs will understand that the word of God is to
be internalized, not worshipped.
Ask God to raise up more intercessors to prepare the way for
the gospel to reach the Sikhs.
Pray that the Lord of the harvest will thrust out more laborers to
this people group.
Pray for the effectiveness of widely available evangelistic
tools among Punjabi Sikhs.
