Luke 24:49 “And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you, but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”

Imagine that a person upon realizing that he will be used of God move straight to the field without waiting to be endued with power. What a shipwreck. This was the error of Moses before his experience of the burning bush that was not consumed by the fire.

Pray that everyone who has gone into the mission field without the Spirit’s empowerment will receive grace to wait for redirection and empowerment of the Spirit.

Pray that more believers will learn to wait upon God, the Holy Spirit and not move ahead of Him and His empowerment.

Ask the Lord to confirm the preaching of the message of the Kingdom with signs and wonders as missionaries wait on Him.
