Although there is freedom of religion in Myanmar(A.K.A Burma), the government considers Christians harmful to the state, therefore, they are harassed, persecuted, and often imprisoned. Buddhism, no longer considered the state religion, is actively promoted by the military regime and most of the population is Buddhist. Through the work of early missionaries, a strong foundation for Christianity has survived. Many of the Christian nine percent are well educated and hold positions of responsibility in the country.

➢ Pray for those believers who face tremendous harassment and persecution for their Christian faith.
