Eritrea in the Horn of Africa gained independence from Ethiopia
in 1993 after a 30-year war. It is a one-party state with an
authoritarian regime. There is no freedom for followers of Christ
to meet together for worship, and many church leaders and
believers have been imprisoned.

towards the traumatized people of Eritrea.

of Eritrea.
<strong>Pray</strong> that Eritrean believers facing persecution in Eritrea
will never lose their hope in Christ.
<strong>Pray</strong> for open doors for more Christian workers to return
to Eritrea.

of the world to support the brethren in Eritrea.
