So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.Acts 2:41-42
This is in line with the Lord’s command in Matthew 28:19-20 but regrettably, this is lacking in many ministries today. Some remain ever seeking miracles, signs and wonders and not willing to devote themselves to the teaching of the WORD.
 Pray that God’s people will see their need for the word of God and go for the word.
 Pray that the hunger for the word of God will surpass every desire for signs.
 Pray that ministers will more and more devote themselves to making disciples than in making members.
