Help Is On The Way! Dear Faithful Reader & Partner,

Psalm 46 announced it to us all!  Be Confident throughout this new year 2021!

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

It is our Year of Supernatural Help.  So, in audacious faith – the “bridge between the natural and the supernatural”, our hope and trust must remain in God throughout 2021, and we must make ourselves available for Divine Help because He has warned that only the unshakeable will remain while all shakable will be removed.  Our God has power to help or destroy.  The pathway of “Victory” He has set before us in 2021, is in Christ Jesus, and it guarantees that we will win all the wars of 2021 because no one can beat a “Champion”.  Meditate upon it.

We must therefore rebuke any slothfulness and create more time to read the Word of God and seize every opportunity to do the Word.  In this year of available and supernatural help, we must endeavor to understand our rainbows, and detest anything that will prevent the light of God working in our lives.  Let us ensure like Moses and the children of Israel, that God is in the “pillar” of any “cloud” or “fire” that we are beholding because the Eternal One is our only veritable refuge.

As the darkness grows deeper over the earth, remember that it is with great power that Jesus was declared the “Son of God”.  We all fasted and prayed throughout January to pay the price of living power, but remember to sustain the prayer through the year because the battles of 2021 will be won by manifestation of God’s power alone!

Lord! Baptize us with your POWER!

Maranatha!

“It’s good work you’re doing, helping these travellers on their way, hospitality worthy of God himself! They set out under the banner of the Name, and get no help from unbelievers. So, they deserve any support we can give them. In providing meals and a bed, we become their companions in spreading the Truth.”

MISSIONARY REPORTS FOR JANUARY 2021

PHOTO REPORT FROM PETER IN NEPAL

PHOTO REPORT FROM  INDONESIA

Report from Indonesia

From E in Indonesia
Last Monday I went to M, West Sulawesi to bring some aid for the refugees who are impacted by the earthquake. I heard about the disaster on Thursday and Friday. However I didn’t feel like going since I heard many organizations were going in and there was not much destruction.

However last Sunday, the Lord spoke to me to go. While I was in M, I met a group of people who wanted to get trained to reach out to our “friends”. So we plan to train them next month after the situation has gotten better.

However,  today the Lord spoke to me again to send people to do evangelism before the training starts.  So far the planning is going well.

Please pray for:
1. the 2 units which will be there for 1-2 weeks to start the work. Pray for their safety, health, etc.
2  the community we will train to do evangelism. Please pray they catch the fire and reach out to the people in M and West Sulawesi.

Light to the Blind Ministry Update – Indonesia

2020 was a tough year for many of us including our ministry. We were hoping to train more blind people “on site” however things went differently in March.

Covid19 changed our direction. When the pandemic started in Indonesia, many blind people lost their income. God then enabled us to feed them. We fed at least 40 blind families for about 5 months during that crisis.

We also started to train the blind online to play the stock market .  Praise God, many blind were blessed by investing in stock during the pandemic.

Besides, we also started to have fellowship online with other blind persons from other cities such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, etc. At least 150 people meet weekly and encourage one another.

This year we also started a ministry to the deaf and mute. We want to equip them with skills so they can succeed in life.

In the midst of this difficulty, some blind unbelievers hear the Gospel and some are studying the Bible.

Thank you for your faithfulness to pray and support us.

Newton M & Family – Kenya

Report from Kenya

We mainly focused on strengthening our House Fellowship and reaching out to Neighbours during this time. Physical meetings have been highly discouraged due to the Corona Virus situation in Kenya.

This has mainly happened with mentoring the boys in the field through Sports Ministry. By Using Soccer as a way of reaching out to the youths, we mainly focus on building team Spirit and Playing In a way that gives glory to God. God has been on our side and the lives of the boys have changed.
We were also able to hold a ‘Kingdom Workers Conference virtually where we were able to encourage one another in our various work stations in and out of the country.

DISCIPLESHIP
I was able to meet with “O” who gave his life to Christ. We were able to share with him how he can walk with Christ and live a life that pleases God. He has been positive with our discussion.
I was also able to distribute some Christian literature to some of the boys that we play Soccer with.

Prayers during this time have been mainly focused on various people groups e.g. the Somali, Munyoyaya, Borana, Orma, and Wardei. We have been praying for their Salvation and God is doing great things in those lands.

OUTCOMES
We had 1 salvation and targeted Uponyaji people group, 2 got healed and 2 audio Bibles were distributed to the glory of God.

TESTIMONIES
A lot of boys have joined the team and we are seeing positive changes in their lives. Pray that God will open their eyes and many of them will embrace Christ.
The Lord enabled us to get a donation of uniforms and soccer equipment from a charitable organization and we Bless the Lord for that.

PRAYER REQUESTS
The Lord blessed us with a plot of land. Pray that God will help us to see the funding required for the development and that we develop it and build our house there. This will save us from the burden of House rent.

Pray for the boys that I reach through football Ministry that God will open their
hearts and that they will accept and Embrace Christ.

Pray also that God will continually provide for us during this difficult moment and that this pandemic will soon be a thing of the past.

Early in January, schools in Kenya will be resuming and students will be going back to school. It will be another time for me to continue with the student ministry in schools through the Christian Union.
Also, I intend to use this available time to reach more youths with the gospel.

COMMENTS
It has been a wonderful time interacting with you. The ministry of Omega Project 2 has always been a blessing to me and my Family. We Pray that God will continually provide for you.
Shalom.

REPORT FROM GUATEMALA

Betty Colson

Omega project 2 is an inspiration to me in the way that it unites so many ministries. I am sure the Lord is using you mightily to establish the Kingdom of God on earth. Thank you for your faithful support, may it be multiplied so you will be able to do all that God has put in your heart!

I finally launched my project to mobilize missions to the unreached! I held an all-day seminar online with 20 pastors and intercessors. The material covered was: 1. Awareness of the need and the statistics, 2. How to pray for the nations according to the Scriptures, 3. The different areas of involvement in missions and forming a successful missions team.  Each meeting began with a short introductory video, followed by a PowerPoint presentation, and then a forum discussion.

My motive is to create in the local churches the vision for world missions to the unreached, convince them that the key to having a successful and thriving local church is to follow God’s heart for the nations, and show them many ways that they can begin to be involved. https://youtube.com/channel/UCrT39wTSSh_xT0Kkg-LxBEA

PLEASE PRAY
Pray that the pastors in Belize, Nicaragua and Panama who attended the orientation in February will stay motivated to start missionary training schools when they are able to after the pandemic.

I am traveling to Chad for a month in May 2021 and I am working on fundraising. I am working on finding people here in Guatemala and in the U.S. who want to support missions by selling my handmade jewelry.

Please pray that our Live School students stay motivated for returning to their studies when the pandemic is over.

Pray for a disciple making program that we are about to begin in my city possibly using the Zumé program. This will form house churches which are really needed here because many of the traditional churches are very religious. A lot of people have been spiritually wounded and are alienated from traditional church situations and need a situation that will minister to their needs.

Pray more meetings of  Mission: Possible both in person and online

Shalom.

Bodh (Buddhist traditions) in India  (Pronounced: bohd)

The Bodh people live in a region described as having, “…an inhospitable terrain with little vegetation as the area falls in the arid zone. It has very scanty rainfall. Stone boulders and loose rocks keep falling all over and on small patches of terraced fields, which are usually near the riverbeds.” It is very difficult to grow enough crops or support livestock in this kind of climate. But their spiritual lives are even more difficult. They depend on shamans to take care of their spiritual needs, and the spirits demands a price. The Bodh people live without a God of love and mercy.

Ministry Obstacles
They live in a remote region high in the Himalayan Mountains. There are strong spiritual barriers that have not been challenged for centuries.

Outreach Ideas
Believers in India can carry the message of Christ to the Bodh people. It will take people with an ability to climb the high mountains and overcome the obstacles of Satan, leaning entirely on the power of the Holy Spirit.

Scripture Focus
“While they stood in their place, they read from the book of the Law of the Lord their God for a fourth of the day. And for another fourth they told their sins and worshiped the Lord their God.”  Nehemiah 9:3

Scripture Prayer
Pray that hearing the word will lead to deep repentance.

Prayer Focus
Ask God to lead faithful workers to reach out to the Bodh people with the message of salvation. Pray that the Bible and gospel recordings would be translated and widely distributed. Pray for a disciple making movement among the Bodh people that will shake the foundations of their spiritual lives and bless them for eternity.

BIBLE NOW TRANSLATED INTO MORE THAN 700 LANGUAGES

By  20/12/2020 International Newsletter

Approximately six billion people can now read the Scripture in their own language, with even more having access to a full New Testament in their first language (1,551 languages).  According to Wycliffe Bible Translators, 1,160 languages also have some portions of the Bible translated, up from 1,138 last year. Executive director of Wycliffe, James Poole, said translation work is vitally important to Christianity. “You can hear things in your second or your third language, the national language, the language the government uses, the language the colonialists use, and it goes into your head, and you can understand so much, but when you hear it in your own language it goes to the heart.” One in five people are still waiting for the Bible in their own language according to Wycliffe.

Poole added that it would take at least another 15 years to translate the Bible into those unreached languages but that their work goes further than just translating God’s word for the first time.  “If you think of our English translations, we’re always having to update and revise them and do new ones, because the language itself is changing. And so alongside getting God’s word to people for the first time, we’re conscious that some of the work that was done maybe 50 years ago is starting to need updating. “That really matters because if you don’t understand the Bible well, if it’s not clear to you, it’s really quite hard to live for Christ when you haven’t got the help that God intended for you to have in His Word,” Poole explained. The charity is hoping to achieve 95% of the world’s largest groups having the Bible in their most suitable language by 2035.

We will not forget to PRAY for the Persecuted Church in Nigeria, The Families of Executed & Beheaded Martyrs & LEAH:

  • The truth to be made known about the fate of Leah Sharibu and Grace Taku, as well as and other workers captured by Boko Haram and Herdsmen terrorists (John 8:32).
  • All Christian captives held by jihadist and terrorist groups in Nigeria to be surrounded by angels and upheld in their faith as they become witnesses living or executed for our Lord Jesus Christ among their captors (Philippians 1:12-13).
  • The supernatural intervention by our Holy God to release Leah and remaining captives from their demonically motivated captors (Acts 16:24-26).
  • Nigeria’s President Buhari and Nigerian military to be moved to action on the part of these captives of Nigerian terrorist groups. May their locations be found, and may the government & the military actively intervene on their behalf (Mark 4:22).
