Nigeria’s democracy has only started to grow. Pray that the process of stabilization for new ministers, appointees and newly elected government officials will be with peace and understanding.  Ask God for this same peace and understanding to overflow into the polity to make our national life equitable and peaceful.

Pray that our leaders will be full of vision and commitment to serving the people in the areas of security, infrastructural development and peaceful co-existence.

Bind the spirit of greed that rules many citizens and politicians from influencing the new government. Pray and loose the spirit of godliness and contentment upon the populace, so that godliness and contentment shall become the nation’s guiding principle.
