A woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple fabrics, a worshiper of God, was listening; and the Lord opened her heart to respond to the things spoken by Paul. And when she and her household had been baptized, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and stay.” And she prevailed upon us.Acts 16:14-15
Missionaries sometimes are bedeviled with accommodation and material provision challenges. This can be discouraging at times.
Pray that the Lord will open the hearts of the people of every field where missionaries are sent to to respond to the gospel.
Pray also that they will give of their substance and open their homes to receive the servants of God.
Pray that the missionaries will deal with their converts whose hearts are open to their message with wisdom and love.
