The political atmosphere in Nigeria is unfavourable to the Church and works against the righteous. On the other hand, the Nigerian Church has become more politically aware and now encourage members to seek the call of God in national politics.

• Thank God for lessons learnt by the Church and righteous decisions made as a result of the seemingly bad situation faced by the Church.
• Pray that the Lord will send men whom He has
  prepared to enter into the leadership of the Nigerian state.
• Ask God to give His grace to believers who go into politics for strength and tenacity, and keep
  them unspotted by the world.
