Widespread corruption has crippled all levels of Nigerian society – especially the government and including the church. The Nigerian church continues to experience massive growth but its teaching is often syncretistic and prosperity – based. Northern Nigeria believers continue to suffer persecution by Islamic insurgents.
Make the following declaration over Nigeria;
 God, be gracious to Nigeria and bless her, and cause Your face to shine upon her—that Your way may be known in every town and village in Nigeria, Your salvation among all the people groups of Nigeria.
 Let Nigeria from all backgrounds and social classes praise You, O God; let men, women and children praise You.
 Let Nigeria be glad and sing for joy; for You will judge that nation with uprightness, and guide everyone within her borders and beyond.
 Let Nigerians praise you, O God; let the Hausas, the Ibos and Yorubas praise you.
 The earth has yieleded its produce; God our God, blesses Nigeria. God, bless Nigeria, that all the ends of the earth may fear You.
